IRT is the fastest and most accurate biometric measurement system that humans have access to. The technology has positioned itself at the forefront of the biometric world in a relatively short period of time. This system uses the unique features of the iris itself to find one person with an extremely high level of accuracy, making IRT the ultimate biometric solution

The iris is basically the elastic, pigmented connective tissue that controls the pupil. Each iris has a unique random texture pattern, resulting in a unique IrisPrint^TM that can be searched in real time. It is the only internal human organ visible from the outside and is protected by the cornea; this protection keeps the iris from wearing out over time and maintains its stability over a person's lifetime.

IRT works in three stages:

Acquires a fine image (picture) of the iris using approved iris recognition cameras;
Generates the IrisPrint^TM;
Searches for a match of the generated IrisPrint^TM in the stored IrisPrint^TM database
